Mission Viejo

SaddleBack College Mission Viejo is a community college (established 1968) in Mission Viejo, California. It is part of the South Orange County Community College District (SOCCCD).

Saddle Back Community College’s slogan is “Your path to the top” which was created by current student Tamim Sultan.

SaddleBack College in Mission Viejo offers a wide range of programs in Advanced Technology and Applied Sciences, including courses in Aviation, Marine Science, Computer Science and Fashion Design. The academics are closely linked to Irvine Valley College, also part of the SOCCCD, It has a reputable science department, including quality Physics and Chemistry programs.

The Saddle Back Community College campus is located in Mission Viejo, Orange County, California. It is situated east of Interstate 5 around the major roads of Avery, Marguerite, and Crown Valley. Located only several miles from the coast, the campus enjoys a mild, Mediterranean coastal climate, with comfortable temperatures year-round and very little rainfall.

The campus is populated with many student clubs and organizations, however the Associated Student Government is the largest group and it funds over a million dollars in events and activities every year. Other campus groups in the past (and present) have included Model United Nations, the Chicano Latino Studies Student Association, College Democrats, College Republicans, Class Action, Students for a Free Tibet, and the Anime Club.
